I do love watermelon! That’s why when a friend invited us to visit their watermelon field, she didn’t need to ask a second time.
Naturally, we expected TO EAT as much as we could. So, we just asked if we could, you know.. take home some. Our friend just smiled and said that she would be happy to take us to the field and then we could choose and take what we could carry. Well, it sounded like a good idea.
So, as soon as we got there, all of us raced for the biggest, roundest and shiniest watermelon of all. But since each of us only has two hands, we could only carry two, one in each hand. So there we were, marching back from the field to our hired tricycle, each hand was carrying a watermelon which seemed to be getting heavier and heavier and heavier.. until we had to stop and leave one of the two watermelons behind.
In the end, we only got one watermelon for each of us..
